Provider Terms

Last updated: 5 October 2026

These terms apply when you list classes or activities on jumpIN. Please read them before you create your provider account.

1. About jumpIN

jumpIN is an online marketplace that connects families on Sydney's Northern Beaches with local providers of kids' classes and activities. Parents use jumpIN to find and book spots in your classes.

jumpIN is not the provider of the classes. You run your classes, and the agreement to attend a class is between you and the parent.

In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" means jumpIN, and "you" means the business or person listing on jumpIN.

2. Eligibility and checks

To list on jumpIN you must have, and keep current for as long as you list with us:

  • a valid Australian Business Number (ABN);
  • current public liability insurance that covers your classes; and
  • a valid Working With Children Check for every person who works with children in your classes.

You must give us copies of these documents when we ask, and tell us straight away if any of them lapse, are suspended or are cancelled.

We may verify your documents with the issuing body. The "Safety verified" badge only appears on your listings once we have checked them. We may remove the badge if a document expires or we can't confirm it.

3. Listings

Your listings must be accurate and kept up to date, including the price, age range, dates and times, location and number of spots available.

You are responsible for running each class as listed, and for the safety and supervision of children during your classes. This includes having enough suitably qualified staff, safe premises and equipment, and appropriate first aid and emergency procedures.

You must not post anything that is misleading, unlawful, or that you don't have the right to use, such as photos you don't own.

4. Fees and payouts

You set your own price for each class. jumpIN adds a parent booking fee on top of your price, which the parent pays at checkout.

For completed bookings, we pay you your price on our weekly payout run, by bank transfer to the Australian bank account you nominate in your dashboard. Please keep your bank details correct, as we can't be responsible for payments sent to details you gave us.

Our fees are as shown in your provider dashboard. We may change our fees by giving you at least 30 days' notice. Free events have no jumpIN fee.

5. Cancellations

If you cancel a session, the parents booked into it will receive a full refund. If we have already paid you for that booking, we may recover that amount, including by deducting it from a future payout.

Please give parents as much notice as you can. Repeated cancellations may lead to your listings being suspended or removed.

6. Parent information

When a parent books, we share the details you need to run the class, such as the parent's name and contact details and the child's name and age.

You must:

  • use parent and child details only to run the booked class;
  • keep them secure and limit access to the people who need them;
  • never use them to market to parents outside jumpIN unless the parent has given you their consent; and
  • comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and any other privacy laws that apply to you.

7. Conduct, suspension and removal

You must treat parents, children and the jumpIN team with respect and act honestly and lawfully when using jumpIN.

We may suspend or remove your listings or account if you breach these terms, if your checks lapse or can't be verified, if we receive serious complaints, or if we reasonably believe it is needed to protect children, families or jumpIN. Where it is safe and appropriate, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.

You can stop listing with us at any time. Bookings already made must still be honoured or cancelled under section 5.

8. Liability

Each party is responsible for its own acts and omissions. You are responsible for your classes, your staff and what happens during your classes. jumpIN is responsible for running the marketplace.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you or a parent has under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a change that materially affects you, we will tell you by email or in your dashboard before it takes effect. If you keep listing after the change takes effect, the updated terms apply.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you and we submit to the courts of New South Wales.
